The ancient Tibetan healing method of REIKI (a Japanese word meaning Universal Life Force Energy, pronounced ray-key) was re-discovered by Mikao Usui in the middle of the nineteenth century.
Reiki is a form of hands on healing which works on the body, mind and spirit by stimulating its own natural healing abilities. Reiki's gentle energy may be used safely by people of all ages, including the newborn, pregnant mothers, surgical patients, the frail and the elderly, and in any situation.
The skills and techniques associated with Reiki are simple and easy to learn. Children and adults can equally understand and incorporate this ancient form of healing into their lives.
